Château de Cazenac

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Château de Cazenac in Coux-et-Bigaroque-Mouzens, a jewel of the Dordogne countryside. Perched high on the hillside, the château offers sweeping views across the Vézère valley and is the kind of place that seems to have stepped straight out of a romantic painting.

The team at Château de Cazenac had reached out to me with a wonderful proposal: they would like to stock my book, My Dordogne Life, in the boutique they are soon to open on-site. I was touched by the invitation and curious to discover more about their vision for this beautiful property.

What I found was inspiring. The château is not only a stunning venue for weddings, but also a creative and cultural hub where guests can immerse themselves in yoga retreats, gastronomy experiences, writing and painting workshops, and so much more. Every corner of the estate breathes both elegance and possibility, making it the perfect setting for both celebration and inspiration.

It was an absolute joy meeting the dedicated and welcoming staff who are bringing all of this to life. Their enthusiasm is infectious, and I left feeling both grateful and excited about the collaboration ahead. I very much look forward to seeing My Dordogne Life on their shelves soon — and to watching this new chapter in the château’s story unfold.
